Aubrey Curtis Wilson, 82 of Lynch Station, VA passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, September 6, 1932 in Lynch Station, VA, a son of the late Guy Curtis Wilson and Ida Dalton Wilson . He retired with 40 years service from Klopman Mills as a Filter Plant Operator and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Dalton Wilson; a daughter, Janet Fay Wilson of Lynch Station; a twin sister, Audrey Wilson Dalton of Gretna; a sister-in-law, Nancy Wiseman of Morristown, TN. The family requests those wishing to make memorials consider Altavista Fire Department, 1280 Main Street, Altavista, VA 24517 or Leader Dogs for the Blind, P.O. Box 5000, Rochester, MI 48308-5000. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Leesville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday beginning at 11:30 AM until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
